Terms & Conditions

Last updated 18 September 2026

These terms apply when you enrol your child in a Seed Scholars Academy tutoring group. By signing up, you agree to them.

The service

We provide small-group online tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students, in groups of four. We offer two options: the Full programme (the taught lesson plus a homework-review session, 4 hours a week) and Lessons only (the taught lesson on its own, 2 hours a week). Lessons are delivered live through Google Classroom and Google Meet, with recordings made available afterwards.

Fees and billing

Fees are billed monthly per child: £250/month for the Full programme, or £150/month for Lessons only, at current pricing. There is no joining fee. Payment is collected by recurring Direct Debit through GoCardless; occasional one-off payments may be taken through Stripe. Some existing students remain on earlier pricing agreed when they joined.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by contacting us at admin@seedscholars.academy or 07466 593150. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you're currently in — we don't offer partial refunds for a month that's already been billed, so if you'd like to stop before the next payment is taken, please let us know before your next billing date.

Missed sessions

We don't offer refunds or credits for sessions a student misses. Every lesson and homework-review session is recorded, so a student who misses a session can catch up in their own time.

Changes to groups

Groups are capped at four students. Where needed — for example, if a group's numbers change — we may merge, adjust, or reschedule a group. We'll always try to give reasonable notice before doing so.

Conduct

We expect students and parents to engage respectfully with tutors and other families. We reserve the right to pause or end a student's place in a group in cases of serious misconduct or persistent non-payment.

Who this is for

Our service is designed for students in Years 10 to 13. A parent or guardian is responsible for the account, for keeping payment details up to date, and for agreeing to these terms on their child's behalf.

No guaranteed results

We teach to a high standard and track progress closely, but we can't guarantee any particular grade or exam outcome — that depends on many factors outside our control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll let existing families know if we make a change that affects them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
